Sardines are a great source of many essential nutrients.
They are a good source of omega-3 fatty acids that may help
with inflammation and improve your dog's skin and coat.
It's also vital for healthy eye and brain health.
Calcium builds strong bones, muscles and supports the heart.
Sardines have COQ 10 which is an antioxidant that also
supports the heart.
Being a small fish, sardines have a very low mercury content.
We at Raaw Energy recommend feeding raw fish.
But some types may contain thiaminase which is an enzyme
that reduces thiamin or B1’s absorption.
Salmon and Atlantic mackerel do not contain thiaminase.
Feeding smelts or sardines is very beneficial as they contain a wealth
of essential nutrients and fatty acids that your dog needs.
It’s best to feed these fish as separate meals or between meals as treats.
Feeding fish containing thiaminase sparingly will not cause
a B1 deficiency, only if fed in excess.
Avoiding fish altogether is NOT a wise strategy plan.

This is a MUST HAVE on hand food for my dogs, I love throwing them in as an extra in their food bowl. Keep them coming!
Very happy with this product. Not disappointed with size or quality. Eyes look fresh which is a good telltale sign to go by. No wimpy anchovies here!
